Cash Gifts

You can print a gift form to return with your gift so your donation is properly credited.
Pledges
Pledges are gift commitments paid over a period of time according to a prearranged payment schedule. Donors can receive reminders monthly, quarterly, semi-annually or yearly, or set up an agreement where the L. D. Indicate your pledge on the gift form, or contact us for options to set-up a pledge program that will work for you. Gifts and pledges of $10,000 or more makes the contributor a member of the Class One Triple Plus Club, one of the donor recognition societies available at The Pankey Institute. Gifts of $25,000 or more honors a donor with membership to our Quid Pro Quo Society. All gifts to the Pankey Foundation are cumulative towards your membership in the Quid Pro Quo Society

Planned Giving
Gifts through estate planning are a great way to support The L. D. Pankey Dental Foundation today and into the future. Bequests, gift annuities, life insurance and other financial vehicles are accepted, often with tax advantages for the donor and their heirs. You may find that spending just a few minutes deciding the best way to make a gift can help assure maximum benefits from your gifts. We will be pleased to discuss in person and in confidence with you and your financial/legal representative methods of giving that could be mutually advantageous to you and to The L. D. Pankey Dental Foundation.
Corporate Giving
Certain cash and non-cash items may be accepted as donations. Some corporations choose to participate by giving large financial contributions to our Annual Fund, others by directly funding tuition grants. Non-cash gifts may include equipment and supplies for our educational programs. You and your company are invited to join a larger group of donors supporting The Pankey Institute with such cash and/or gifts-in-kind. Gifts-in-kind must be reviewed by The L. D. Pankey Dental Foundation to see if they qualify to serve the mission of the institution and the donor is responsible for furnishing the fair market value. Contact us for information and to begin our gift-in-kind process. Please review our Corporate Code of Ethics Statement.
Current Giving Funds
The Endowment Fund – With endowed funds the original amount of the gift is invested. Each year, only a portion of the earned income is spent while the remainder adds to principal growth. In this respect, an endowment is a perpetual gift. Always equated with excellence and long-term strength, endowments are essential if the L. D. Pankey Dental Foundation is to remain a leader in advanced dental education. It is a great way to link your legacy with our future.
Class One Triple Plus Club– The Class One Triple Plus Club was established in 1978 by founding members of The Pankey Institute: Dr. Peter Dawson, Mr. L. M. Anderson, Jr., and Dr. James Cosper. The name originated from Dr. Pankey’s hierarchy of patient awareness. Membership is comprised of individuals dedicated to excellence and the perpetuation of the Institute's mission. Active membership is currently in excess of 600. Individuals become members of the Class One Triple Plus Club with a $10,000 pledge that is paid over a 10-year period or less.
Benefits of Membership:
The Annual Fund
Each year, we invite our community of faculty, advisors, alumni, corporate supporters, and friends to make an annual contribution to support the educational program of the Institute. We need this support in order to offer tuition plans that dentists starting on their career journeys can afford, to equip the Institute with emerging technologies, and to establish a firm financial foundation for the years to come.
